The Dubuque County team was eliminated from the Central Plains tournament with losses to Appleton, WI and Renner, SD. The winner of the Central Plains tournament and the winners from the other seven regional tournaments will play in the Legion World Series in Shelby, NC beginning August 14. The World Series can be followed here. All games will be televised on ESPN3 and ESPNU with the chanpionship game on ESPNEWS on August 20.
