Judith Nadine Demarest, age 75, of Ames, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019 at the Israel Family Hospice House. Judy was a 52-year member of the Ames American Legion Auxiliary and a past member of the Pure Heaven Color Guard, winning multiple American Legion National Championships. Judy was also the wife of Past Department Adjutant (1989-2002) and Past Department Commander (2013-2014) James Demarest.
