National ConventionThe annual National Convention is the governing body of The American Legion. Each of The American Legion's 55 Departments (one in each state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, France, Mexico and the Philippines) is entitled to a minimum of five delegates to the National Convention, plus one delegate for each 1,000 members or major fraction thereof, as of 30 days before the convention. DELEGATES/ALTERNATES/GUESTS:Delegates and Alternates to the National Convention are elected at District Spring Conferences. If you are interested in attending the National Convention, please contact your District Commander or the Department Adjutant. If you are not elected as a Delegate or Alternate at the District Spring Conference, you may still attend the National Convention as a Guest.
REGISTRATION:Registration for Delegates, Alternates, and Guests to the National Convention is $15. Registration forms are available at District Spring Conferences, from Department Headquarters, or can be downloaded below.
Housing:Room reservations must be made through Department Headquarters. Forms are available at District Spring Conferences, from Department Headquarters, or can downloaded below.
