The Department of Iowa has a number of Commissions and Committees for the
implementation of American Legion programs. The organizational structure
is designed to involve an increased number of Legionnaires in the affairs of the
Department.
All programs and activities of The American Legion as determined by the
National Organization, the Department Convention, or the Department Executive
Committee shall be centered in six (6) Commissions and the Committees of the
Commission.
